The Close of Winter



February 3rd is Setsubun in Japan. In Japan, the traditional end of winter falls on February 3rd, and is known as Setsubun. It is before the beginning of spring according to the lunisolar calendar. On the evening of this day, people open the doors of their houses and drive the devils that means bad luck out of their homes and gardens by throwing  handfuls of beans and shouting, "devils out!! Good luck in!!"
Therefore, We put on makeup of devils and took pictures that show doing the Setsubun. Yes, Setsubun should be enjoyable and not a task.
And after Setsubun ends, winter is closed...
